Church and Society is part of a consortium of civil society organisations working together to tackle corruption and encourage transparency in Malawi’s public institutions.

We will be sharing our expertise in advocacy to help strengthen the voices of those who are trying to speak out against corruption. The fair and effective use of Malawi’s resources, particularly finances, is vital if we are to continue to develop as a nation.

Our partners in this movement are the Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation; Youth & Society and Malawi Law Society. Together, we are working to equip other civil society organisations and local and national media with the requisite skills and resources to challenge corruption.

Through public and media scrutiny, and if required litigation, we aim to highlight corrupt activities and their impact on Malawi’s citizens. Putting an end to these practices for the benefit of all Malawians.
